Another Successful CROP Walk

Thank you to all who walked, ran, and supported Pitman/Glassboro’s 2018 CROP Hunger Walk on October 21. Despite rainy and windy weather, we took to the streets to end hunger one step at a time, and are still collecting donations for the cause until November 11, 2018. Final results will be in, in the future, but for now, a huge thank you…

Campfire Worship Service

Tonight (Friday, October 12th) we’ll be having an outside worship service on our front lawn around a fire pit. We’ll have a relaxing evening roasting marshmallows, then sing a few songs from Camp Johnsonburg, VBS, and other places. Please bring chairs if you want to sit in them and a flashlight and be ready for a chilly evening.

In Sunday School on Sept 30th the students learned about the Ronald McDonald House and their mission of providing a home for sick children and their families while in treatment. The students worked together to make fall decorations that will be used to brighten the dining room and any other areas of the House. The students were also given a wish list from…

Sinkhole No More

Many thanks and kudos to Mike Jurkiewicz, Pastor Drew, Jason Russell and Stacey Sharpe for the TEN hours of hard labor they put in last Saturday to repair our driveway sinkhole. They had to dig out a buried crumbling tree that was almost six feet under our driveway, creating an almost five foot diameter hole in the process, and then fill it back…

Soup Cook-Off!

The Initiation & Outreach Committee is excited to announce a Soup Cook-Off after church on October 28, 2018 during Social Hour. Think your soup has what it takes? Contact Betsy Wriggins or Carol Owens to let them know that you’ll be submitting an entry. Only interested in taste testing? Meet us in the Social Hall after church on Sunday, the 28th.
