Summer Lunch Packing Boxes

It’s almost summer, which means the Summer Lunch Program is soon to be in full swing! This year we’ve extended our program to include all children of the Pitman school district. Crayon Collection

Hanging on to things the grandkids don’t use anymore? Stepped on a bunch of ‘em but feel bad to throw them out? Bring your used and broken crayons to church to be collected and recycled by the Earth Care Committee.

A Nice Assortment

The Church Library’s current display is a very nice assortment of titles. “We Love Browsers” is one of our favorite sayings, so come and browse among our variety of books on display, and then be sure to borrow one or two!

Scholarship Opportunity

The deadline for completed Cole-Lacy scholarships is rapidly approaching! All applications must be received by the Church Office by noon on Monday, May 6, 2019. Applications can be found on the table below the church bulletin board or on our website. Scholarship awards will be distributed on Father’s Day at our regular 10 AM Sunday worship service.    

Senior Luncheon

It’s almost here! The Deacons’ Senior Luncheon will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 12-2 PM in the Social Hall. All senior citizens are invited. Reservations can be made by calling Kathie Daly.

Easter Eve Breakfast

Don’t miss the Easter Eve Breakfast at Pitman Road Church of Christ from 9 to 11 AM on Saturday, April 20th. All are invited by the Pitman Council of Churches to this community breakfast for all ages with local speakers and an enjoyable Easter fellowship. Ticket sales will fund the Pitman High School Scholarship Fund. Tickets donations are suggested at $5/adult, $3/child.

Spring Cleaning

Have you cleaned out your closet yet? The Earth Care Committee continues to collect shoes to recycle for ShoeBox Recycling for a couple more weeks. Please help! We collect all types of gently used shoes that are able to be reused: men’s, women’s, kids, athletic shoes, casual shoes, dress shoes, work boots, sneakers, sandals, flats, and loafers.
