June 19th at 3 PM at Sunset Auditorium (Laurel Avenue, Pitman): The Pitman Council of Churches is hosting this event with speaker, author, and professor Drew G.I. Hart. His talk is entitled “Putting On Our Blue Jeans!” and will focus on getting involved in the work of God’s justice, love, and deliverance in this world. There will be a time of Q&A following his talk. You can learn the significance of blue jeans from Drew in his second book or by showing up and learning from him in person.
The PCOC hosted a book discussion on his first book Trouble I’ve Seen in the beginning of 2020 in anticipation of his participation of the 2020 Easter Community Breakfast. COVID-19 may have canceled that event, but it could not stop us from the work that God has called us to do. Therefore, we are excited to finally have Drew G.I. Hart join us on June 19th!
