Dare to Understand Religious Communities

The Interfaith Center of Greater Philadelphia affords interns the chance to deepen their interfaith experience by visiting area congregations for worship services, meeting members from a variety of faith and belief communities, and asking questions; creating an opportunity for dialogue with community leaders and members. In cooperation with the Interfaith Center, there are some upcoming events that are free to the public: Interfaith Ramadan Celebration, hosted by Peace Islands, City Hall-Center Courtyard, Tuesday, June 28, 7:15-8:40 PM. The Ethical Humanist Society of Philadelphia, 1906 Rittenhouse Square, Sunday, July 10, 10:30 AM-1 PM. The Philadelphia Pennsylvania Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1739 Vine Street, Saturday, July 30, 2-3:30 PM. To RSVP for one or more visits, please contact Mary Kate Fitzpatrick at marykate@interfaithcenterpa.org or (609) 707-1009.
