Saturday October 25th, at 4:00pm. Meet at the Western Entrance to Ceres Park for a 1-2 mile hike led by Dana Eglinton paying attention to local trees and with an opportunity to see an American Chestnut tree!
Directions:
Go west on Holly Ave from the light at Broadway in downtown Pitman.
The park entrance is 2.0 miles from the light.
Stay straight on Holly past the Pitman Golf Course (the road name changes but stay straight).
After you clear the golf course you will go down a small hill.
Turn right into the driveway of the parking lot just before a guard rail (There is no sign)
There is what looks to be another driveway just before the parking lot drive but it goes nowhere.
