Ticket sales for our 1930’s themed building fund dinner will begin on August 20! But, to make this event perfect, we need your help!
- Being that this is a fundraiser, there will be an auction for consumable items that you might be purchasing anyway. However, we need your help procuring these items. So, we are asking for donations of gift cards or services that can be auctioned. Ideas for gift cards include restaurants, fast food, grocery stores, movies, theaters, theme parks, carwashes/cleaning, or an activity. Share YOUR skills (from a lawyer – a will!), like babysitting, lawn care or pet grooming, photography, sewing. Have a business you always use? Ask them for a gift certificate. Feel free to combine efforts with a friend or go in as a group. Too much for you to do? We can buy the items for you. Thanks in advance for your generosity. Please give your gifts to either of us, or Alyssa in the Church Office.
- Food: The catered sides we have had at our past two dinners could not compare to what our own church members provide for funerals and other events! So we are asking for some of your specialties. Soup for our soup line, salads, side sides or desserts to accompany our roast pig and grilled chicken. There is a sign-up sheet in the hallway.
- Quart or pint canning jars are needed.
