Peacemaker Visit

Monique Misenga Mukana is the 2019 Peacemaker, and she is coming to First Pres on Friday, September 20 at 7 PM to share with us about her ministry. Monique serves as the President of the Presbyterian Community of Kinshasa’s Committee in Charge of Projects. She also serves as President of a Christian non-profit organization Woman Cradle of Abundance. Through education and income generating projects, the organization helps women lift themselves out of extreme poverty. She will be speaking on women’s rights and her work to end violence against women, particularly sexual violence as a weapon of war.
