God's Open House

Pitman Pantry News

August has not been a welcome month for the Pitman Food Pantry. Food donations for our needy are at a low. July records show we served 183 families, 121 of which were children, in addition to many seniors. Let’s see if we can replenish the shelves with much needed cereals, canned fish, canned fruit, canned soups, peanut butter, and more. Many of our clients have minimal cooking facilities and appreciate food items that are “easy to prepare.” Pop lids and microwaveable items are helpful. Our Mission Statement ends “we help people in need.”  And we do! An overflowing Pantry will prove it. (Psalm 146:7) –Submitted by the Deacons
