March 18 – Lakota Wolf Preserve – Columbia, NJ – The only sanctuary in NJ featuring pure breed wolves. Wolves are an endangered species. Come and learn about their social structures, eating habits, and other interesting facts. There are four packs of wolves, bobcat and foxes at the preserve. There is a short hike to into the sanctuary, followed by an educational tour where you will be able to observe the animals in a natural setting. Photo opportunities abound. We will meet at the church at 11 AM on Saturday, March 18. (Please have eaten lunch and pack a snack.) We should return home between 7:30-8 PM. (Please bring money for dinner on the way home.) Cost of the tour is $15 payable by cash only. Permission slip will be on the Youth Bulletin Board at the church or can be emailed. Attendees must sign up by March 12.
