We are called to participate in God’s activity in the world by healing and reconciling and binding up wounds, ministering to the needs of the poor, the sick, the lonely and the powerless, engaging in the struggle to free people from sin, fear, oppression, hunger and injustice, giving ourselves and substance to those who suffer. The church is called to undertake this mission even at the risk of losing its life, trusting in God as the author and giver of life, living the Gospel and doing those deeds in the world that point beyond ourselves to a new reality in Christ.

Deacons
The Deacons sustain the caring relationships that we share as brothers and sisters in Christ. Each Deacon is assigned to a cluster of church members. Members of the church family contact their Deacon for temporary help in time of need and the Deacons respond with tangible assistance such as meals or transportation. The Deacons host an annual luncheon for the congregation, an…

When disaster strikes, members of Presbyterian Disaster Assistance are often the first ‘on the ground’ to help. Through our giving to the denomination’s One Great Hour of Sharing offering and a line item in our annual budget, we support…
