Worship

Worship is central to our life together as a church. The congregation gathers to give thanks to God, renew our relationship with Jesus the Christ, learn from scripture, and support one another for our daily lives. Worship is a place of rest and restoration as well as a place to challenge us mentally and spiritually. From worship we engage anew in the world with Christian courage and conviction.

Our Sunday worship service is every Sunday at 10:00 AM. We celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month. Our practice is that of an “open table” and everyone is welcome to participate in the Lord’s Supper. From October through May, the first Sunday of each month is dedicated to families with our Family First Worship Service. The children of the church are given the opportunity to participate in the service.

Music

Music is an integral part of every worship service. We believe that music is a gift from God. Realizing that we are all called to make a joyful noise, we encourage congregational singing and participation for all ages and ability levels.
